Southern Gates Farm is
owned and operated by Vicky and David Duckwiler.
David & Vicky have over 40 years combined experience
as farm managers and barn managers on horse farms.
Say the Duckwilers, "We started our
breeding program based on movement,
disposition and conformation.
The movement
of our ponies and horses has been compared to the warm blood. Selective
breeding of our ponies and horses for their conformation, which enhances their
athletic ability for any sport such as dressage, driving, eventing and hunter
jumpers, pleasure riding and trails. In addition we
have proven winners in the conformation classes.
Our
ponies are exposed to many things; children, chickens, geese, and other farm
animals, As well as heavy equipment. Their
bold and curious nature makes for a pleasurable trail ride. We
are proud to have quality horses and ponies for our family and others to enjoy."
